Alberto Besada and Ruth Esquivel run the NGO “I will fight for one “ in the Peruvian district of Laredo. The work of this Vigo couple is focused on strengthening the education that young people in the area receive at school. To do so, Alberto and Ruth give English classes and other subjects to the boys in the evenings and, two days a week, they organize football training sessions.
On the occasion of the grand opening of the new NGO facilities in San Carlos-Laredo, Trujillo Province (Peru), and the Sports academy “Da Silva Sport Vigo”, created alongside Juan Antonio da Silva and which currently has about 50 boys, the Celta Foundation has sent official sports material from RC Celta as a sign of support for this exciting solidarity project.
