Summer World Cup in Russia 2018 is approaching, a very special tournament for celtismo because after 24 years a Celta academy player and first team member will be among the world’s best: Iago Aspas. The player from Moaña is not the only one who might make it to Russia 2018, since Maxi Gómez and the Danish Wass and Sisto have been included in the preliminary lists of their national squads. Monday June 4th the definite World Cup squad lists for Uruguay and Denmark will be announced.
Denmark will play two friendly matches before the World Cup. The first the 2nd of June against Sweden in Stockholm and the second against Mexico the 9th of June in Brondby (Denmark).
Lobotka and Mazal, listed for Slovakia for two friendly matches
Stanislav Lobotka and Robert Mazan will not be in Russia, since Slovakia did not qualify for the World Cup. However, both Celta players have been named by the Slovakian manager for a friendly match against Netherlands in Trnava (Slovakia) the 31 of May and another one the 4th of June against Morocco in Geneva(Switzerland).
