Real Club Celta and Club Atlético Independiente have sealed off an agreement to transfer the federation rights of midfielder Pedro Pablo ‘Tucu’ Hernández. The Chile national team member landed in Vigo in the summer of 2014 from O’Higgins and, during 4 seasons, has defended RC Celta’s jersey with courage, pride and the greatest professionalism that can be expected from a football player.
Tucu says good-bye after playing 149 matches in Liga, Copa and Europa League; ten goals and a bunch of memorable moments for Celtismo, that will always remember fondly a player who has been a role model both on and off the pitch. RC Celta wants to sincerely thank Tucu for his four years of absolute dedication for the Celta jersey and wishes him the best for his new stage in Argentina.
