Very important RC Celta win against CD Leganés (1-0) in a match in which the sky-blue players had to make a great effort after the ejection of Bradaric by Munuera Montero, a referee who did not consider Bale’s tackle on Rafinha up from behind and without the ball a week ago as a red card.
The match was very evenly contested during the 90 minutes, but it was the Madrid players who had the most possession after the Croatian midfielder was sent off. However, Oscar Gacía’s side showed their defensive strengths throughout the game.
In the second half, Iago Aspas put RC Celta ahead in a rehearsed play served up by Olaza and, in the final stretch, the fans’ support was key to keeping the three points at home.
