Denmark thrashed Ireland in the second leg match of the 2018 World Cup second round qualifiers. The Danish won solidly 1-5. In Austria, Maxi Gomez played the final minutes for Uruguay in a loss against the local team. The “charrua” striker entered the match at the 74 minute mark, substituting Cavani.
As for club-trained players Iago Aspas and Ivan Villar, neither had playing time yesterday. The Spanish national squad got a 3-3 draw against Russia and the Under-21 national squad thrashed Slovakia 5-1, remaining undefeated in the EURO group phase.
