RC Celta goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez underwent surgery on his right knee last week at the FREMAP Hospital by the club’s head of medical services, Juan Jose Garcia Cota. The sky-blue goalie suffered a long break in the internal meniscus, opting for reconstruction of the same, and a small break in the external meniscus. He will remain sidelined from 4 to 5 months.
