RC Celta’s defense gets experience, versatility and reliability with the arrival of Junior Alonso on loan with a purchase option. The Paraguay national player comes from French Lille. He was born in Paraguay on the 12th of September, 1993, and is a lefty defender that can play equally well as center or left-back, and offers aggressiveness, good technique and great reliability.
The Paraguayan defender has, despite his youth (25), a lot of experience both in the French league and with his national team. In the French First Division he has played 46 matches and has scored 2 goals. Besides, in his home team, Cerro Porteño, he has played a lot of matches in Copa Libertadores and Copa Suramericana.
The skyblue footballer stands out in reliability, speed and assurance on defense and for his ability to combine good team plays and give the ball fluency. He is Celta’s 7th signing this season and the third defender after David Juncà and Néstor Araujo.
