RC Celta lost 3-1 to Levante on Sunday in a controversial match. A second goal that should not have gone up allowed the Valencians to come back from Iago Aspas’ opening goal.
The sky-blue team came out into the match looking very good. It was in possession of the ball in the first half and had the best chances to score. The first goal of the match, scored by Iago Aspas, came in the 12th minute after a set play. With the passing of the minutes the game was equalized and the Levante took a step forward.
In the second half the local team came back to the match thanks to two goals by Roger. The second one after a throw-in in favour of RC Celta that the referee gave to Levante in a decision that was not checked by VAR. In injury time Mayoral scored.
