RC Celta added a new victory in ABANCA Balaídos (2-1) against Girona that allows them to climb positions in the standings and keep away from the relegation positions. Iago Aspas and Boufal were the scorers in a very important match against a close rival.
Fran Escribá’s team dominated the first half from beginning to end. His were the only chances, which came through Boufal, Maxi Gomez and Boudebouz. It was the Moroccan wing player, in an extraordinary individual play, who served the first goal to Iago Aspas after more than half an hour.
In the first play of the second half the visitors equalized through Portu. The match was even for twenty minutes, when Boufal emerged to put the sky-blue in front in a sensational personal move.
