RC Celta lost to Real Sociedad (0-1) in a match characterized by the strict ejection of Pepe Cheikh with half an hour left. The sky-blue team enjoyed several occasions that they could not transform and the Basque team got ahead in the final stretch.
The first half had alternate dominance, but the main chances were Fran Escriba’s players, who had the chance to take the lead before the break. In the second half, when the local team was at its best, the referee sent off Pape Cheikh and the match went down on the San Sebastian side with a goal from Isak.
