RC Celta fell to SD Eibar (1-0) thanks to a goal by Sergi Enrich in the final stretch. The sky-blues had two very clear chances in the first half that they could not convert and ended up losing in the last minutes of the game.
The first half was defined by the constant crosses to the area thrown by an SD Eibar that pressed the sky blues very high up. Miguel Cardoso’s men, however, had the two clearest chances in the shoes of Brais Mendez and Maxi Gomez.
In the second half the momentum remained the same, although RC Celta was better positioned on the pitch. The home team had a penalty in their favour in the 65th minute that Charles sent over the post. Sergi Enrich scored the only goal of the match five minutes away from full time.
