Celta players retake their traditional visits to educational centers in Vigo and its surroundings. Like every year, the Celta Foundation organizes this initiative to not only spread the Celta sentiment (celtismo), but also teach children healthy habits through the words of its football players.
The first centers receiving visits from Celta players have been CEIP Ramón y Cajal (Guidetti), Los Sauces (Tucu Hernández), Rosalía de Castro (Iago Aspas), Humberto Juanes (Sisto), Apóstol Santiago (Wass), Montecastelo (Lobotka) and Calasancias (Radoja). Soon more schools in the Vigo area will get the chance to meet the Celta players and get first-hand advice on nutrition, practicing sports and personal care.
The Celta Foundation, responsible for articulating the social and educational work of the sky-blue entity, continues this way developing and improving its programs and activities to bring closer celtismo (Celta spirit) to the fans as well as spread sport values throughout society.
