Past, present and future converge in the images that show the new RC Celta’s kit for the 2020/2021 season. The first kit is inspired by the one used by the team in the 80’s, easily recognizable for the veteran Celta fans and designed to please both those and the youngest ones. Its design shows a clear nod to the past with a successful update so that it can successfully navigate into the present.
It is a technical shirt in slightly shiny polyester of which 40% is recycled PES in accordance with the strategy of the club and adidas to care for the environment and make the garment more sustainable. It’s a premium product with aeroready technology so that the athlete can perform at his best in spite of heat or sweat.
The second looks a little further back to the 1970s. It is a navy blue that also lives on in the memory of many fans. Like the first one, it is a technical shirt in polyester with a pique touch and a different finish to give a more retro look to the equipment, which also incorporates aeroready technology. It is dark blue with a gradient design of darker bands that add texture to the design.
Both evoke the afouteza, the indomitable spirit of that Celta who offered us important feats and left players with great weight in the history of the club.
And the future is in the hands of the ‘models’: Miguel Rodriguez and Gabri Veiga as representatives of the RC Celta Youth League, which will play for the first time in the history of the UEFA Youth League.
The new kits are already on sale in the stores of A Sede and Balaídos as well as in the online shop: shop.rccelta.es
