This morning the Estrella Galicia November Player of the Month award has been given to striker Iago Aspas, at the A Madroa sports facilities.
The winner was voted by Celta fans via the team’s social networks. From the total of the casted votes on Twitter y Facebook, 75% have chosen Aspas, while 15% supported Lobotka and 10% Sisto.
La propietaria de la Cafetería Ecos, María del Carmen Diéguez, ha sido la encargada de entregar el galardón en la tercera entrega de esta iniciativa que cada mes deja en manos de los aficionados del Celta, mediante una votación popular a través de las redes sociales del Club, la elección del que consideren mejor jugador de ese período de tiempo.
The owner of Cafetería Ecos, María del Carmen Diéguez, awarded this year’s third trophy of an initiative which lets the fans decide via popular vote on the club’s social networks who the best player is each month.
Meanwhile, María del Carmen Diéguez has been acknowledged as the Estrella Galicia Hotelier of the Month in October, receiving on behalf of Iago Aspas an Official Celta jersey signed by all the squad’s players.
Iago Aspas stated that “It is a proud honor to get this award” and gave credit for the award to the rest of his teammates: “I want to thank all my teammates who always help me and give me their support”. The sky-blue striker also spoke some words about this weekend’s Galician derby this Saturday against Deportivo: “It’s always a special match and we want to dedicate the victory to our fans”.
