RC Celta’s kits for the 2018/2019 season are already on sale in the club’s official stores at A Sede and the stadium. These kits have had a great acceptance among fans.
The home kit, revealed yesterday on social networks with the help of some fans, has a grey neckline with one rubber button, which ensures comfort and an attractive v-shaped design to resemble a polo shirt for a casual everyday use. The trisquel gains presence and is placed on the bottom right side, making it easier to see, to celebrate the club’s 95th anniversary. The emblem is embroided on a patch.
The three Adidas stripes are also skyblue, but in a slightly darker tone, and the classic white and skyblue colors are very predominant. Another new feature is that on the bottom RC Celta’s brand is visible.
The shirts have been manufactured with Tricot-hydrophilic finish, a very comfortable and light pique fabric enabling the best performance on the pitch, and Climalite technology, extremely breathable, and which conducts sweat away from the body, keeping the jersey dry and fresh under the most intense heat.
The away kit is purple. It has two tones to grant it dynamism and the three classic Adidas stripes are pink. This color has been chosen in homage to one of the greatest symbols of the city, the Christ of Victory (Cristo de la Victoria). The popular legend has attributed to it the victory over the Napoleonic troops which invaded Vigo in 1809. A feat earned with great “afouteza”. The brethren who carry the statue in the huge parade along the city dress in purple clothes, like this away kit.
