From this Wednesday, December 29, RC Celta fans will be able to purchase merchandising and products from the sky blue club and 12 other LaLiga Santander clubs through Amazon. Thanks to a new collaboration between the Spanish soccer league and Amazon, there will be a dedicated LaLiga store available on Amazon.uk, Amazon.it, Amazon.fr and Amazon.de.
Initially, this experience will be available in the UK, Italy, France and Germany, with plans to expand to other regions throughout 2022.
LaLiga Store includes more than 1,600 different products from RC Celta and the following Primera División clubs: Getafe CF, Cádiz CF, Granada CF, Athletic Club, Levante UD, Villareal CF, Real Sociedad, Deportivo Alavés, RCD Espanyol, RCD Mallorca, Real Betis Balompié and Club Atlético Osasuna.
A new e-commerce opportunity for Spanish clubs.
LaLiga is continuously looking for ways to work with new technologies, as well as commercial opportunities that allow LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs to evolve and develop. Thanks to this collaboration with Amazon, professional soccer clubs in Spain have the opportunity to reach more fans outside of Spain.
In the development of this initiative, LaLiga will coordinate with each of the participating clubs to ensure the timely production and availability of the products offered for sale, in order to offer their customers a great new shopping experience. Clubs will benefit from Amazon’s infrastructure and will be able to easily update their inventory and commercial offerings within the online store.
