RC Celta won a match of real madness in Huesca (3-4). Coudet’s team got a very important victory in a match where goals rained down.
The match could not have started in a better way. Almost in the first dangerous action, the Celeste team invented a perfect counterattack in which Iago Aspas, Nolito and Santi Mina intervened in a masterful way, who managed to beat the local goalkeeper with a great cross shot.
However, the joy was short-lived as just 10 minutes later the home team would equalize the match with a header by Siovas against which Rubén Blanco could do nothing. Huesca did not stop there, and in the next action they took the lead after Rafa Mir took advantage of a quick counterattack.
The first half continued at a breakneck pace, although the game was centered in midfield. Just past the half-hour mark Denis Suárez produced a masterful pass to Brais and Nolito took advantage of the goalkeeper’s rebound to make it 2-2. Just before the break, Rubén had to retire injured after a blow from Siovas.
Coudet’s team started the second half very well and captain Hugo Mallo headed a corner kick into the net to put the sky-blues ahead. The home team did not give up and looked for the equalizer again with numerous balls into the box, something that Ferreyro achieved with a quarter of an hour to go.
RC Celta didn’t give up and didn’t feel the blow and took the lead again with a shot by Fran Beltrán from the top of the area.
