Fran Beltrán, new RC Celta midfielder, was officially introduced to the media last Monday at A Sede’s Regal Lounge. The young star was accompanied by advisor Primitivo Ferro and sports director Felipe Miñambres.
«Coming to Celta is a great step forward», the Madrilian player stated, after debuting two days ago in the friendly match against Fulham in England: «I felt great out there with my teammates, it’s a good group and thanks to that fact I felt great on the pitch», he told the press which attended the event.
Beltrán, a midfielder who Miñambres describes as «a player who is able to begin playing from the defensive end, who presses intensively and is very aggresive». He also indicated that the player will put great «effort, hope, hardwork and humbleness» from the first day on.
Celta fans will have the chance to get to know the player and get his autograph tomorrow Wednesday at 1pm at Celta’s official shop at Abanca-Balaidos.
