RC Celta couldn’t secure a win at Abanca Balaídos against a defensive RCD Mallorca. The visiting team, playing defensively throughout the match, scored in the 21st minute through Amath.
From that point on, they defended their lead fiercely. Carvalhal’s team tried without giving up, but they couldn’t break through.
Celta will have another chance to earn points this week with a visit to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday.
