RC Celta was unable to score in its visit to Real Valladolid on a rainy evening. Roque Mesa gave Real Valladolid the lead after half an hour but a great goal by Óscar Rodríguez, after a great play by Larsen, brought the score back to level.
The sky blues looked for the victory after the break with great minutes of game control and chances. But Joaquín Fernández and a brace from Sergio León sealed the game.
Marchesín saved a penalty with a great save. Next Monday, RC Celta has a chance to get a win against Getafe (21:00) at Abanca Baláidos.
